Fiesta Buckhorn is a fund-raising event presented by the Buckhorn Community Centre. The BCC is a not-for-profit organization that is supported through annual events such as Fiesta Buckhorn. Funds from these and other events contribute to the day-to-day operation of this facility. Your support of our event is greatly appreciated.

FRIDAY NIGHT FIESTA - Friday, July 16, 2010 from 5 to 9 pm
Visitors can enjoy a select group of exhibitors featuring Ontario wine, area restaurants and craft breweries. The jazz sounds of Bridget and The Boys will accompany the laid back atmosphere of the park setting at the Centre.

Then the action moves indoors from 8:30 p.m. to midnight for the Spirit of Fiesta. Join Elvis (a.k.a Peterborough's own Rob Moncrief) for our Elvis Show and Dance, starting at 8:30 p.m. and going until midnight. Wine and Beer are the beverages for the dance, along with great food from some of our Friday night exhibitors. Admission is $12 for Taste of Fiesta on Friday night; $15 for the dance only; or $25 for admission to both the Friday night tasting event and the dance. Tickets to the dance can be purchased by calling the Buckhorn Community Centre at 705-657-8833 or by using the Paypal option.

GROUP RATES
For groups of 10 people or more, admission on Saturday is only $12 per person. Members of the group must arrive at the same time and arrangements must be made in advance through the Show Director.

TASTING TOKENS
Visitors may purchase tasting tokens for $1 each. These tokens are "paid" to exhibitors in exchange for samples of food, wine and beer. Exhibitors set their own prices for each taste and may charge more than one token per taste. Sampling sizes for alcohol are strictly enforced: wine 1 ounce, beer 3 to 4 ounces.

Due to liquor board restrictions, exhibitors are not allowed to exceed the tasting sizes.

DESIGNATED DRIVERS
Designated drivers are encouraged and will receive free coffee and soft drinks while at the show. Tasting tokens for food must be purchased. Designated drivers should make themselves known upon admission and will be issued a wristband as identification.

We are also pleased in 2010 to provide shuttle buses from various locations -- Peterborough, Bobcaygeon and Lakefield. Tmes and routes are to be determined, so please check this website for future updates.

The organizers of Fiesta Buckhorn and the Directors of the Buckhorn Community Centre advocate responsible use of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse entry, sales or service to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
