HOW IT WORKS

Fiesta Buckhorn is a celebration of fine wine, beer and cuisine. As a fund-raising event for the Buckhorn Community Centre, Fiesta Buckhorn brings together wineries, breweries, restaurants, caterers, cheesemakers and others to provide guests with a taste of their wares.

Once you arrive at Fiesta, you will pay your admission (see tickets for more information about pricing). On admission you will receive a commemorative tasting glass that you will use during the show.

Once inside the park, if you want to taste any of the products, you must purchase "tasting tokens" for $1 each -- which you then give to the exhibitor as currency. Exhibitors set their own tasting prices -- for example a 2-ounce taste of wine, depending on the vintage, will run anywhere between 1 and 5 tokens. New for 2010, is our Sip and Order Ontario Program. While visiting Fiesta, you will be able to order your product of choice online from participating exhibitors.

The Buckhorn Community Centre is a unique facility in that exhibitors are located in the main building as well as inside 11 pavilions throughout the park. So even if the weather is damp, you can enjoy the show in comfort. Walk around, enjoy the live music in the park and taste the best Ontario has to offer.

Through the day on Saturday, Fiesta Buckhorn offers free seminars in the main building. And don't miss the Spirit of Fiesta on Friday night! Once the main show closes on Friday night out in the park, you're invited to join us for an Elvis Show and Dance, featuring Peterborough's own Rob Moncrief as Elvis! Tickets to the dance are $15; combined with your Friday admission to Fiesta only $25.

Please note: You must be 19 years of age or older to taste alcoholic beverages. If asked you must produce photo identification to prove age of majority.

Visitors under the age of 19 are permitted at Fiesta Buckhorn and are not subject to the regular admission charge. However, they must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Children-friendly food is available including hamburgers and ice cream.
