Here's what's happening in 2009:

1:15 – Chef Brian Henry - Culinary Expert - Pulp Fiction of Today’s Dinner Table. From calories and organics to free range tapas and Angus beef… what are these things and why do they plague my food choices? Chef Brian will take a satirical approach to deciphering food trends and fads from the past and how they have evolved into today’s media hyped menus. Chef Brian is a renowned Chef offering the finest in Personal Chef Services including catering, cooking classes, menu planning and preparation, ice sculptures and more.

2:45 – Konrad Ejbich - “The Wine Mentor” is one of Canada’s most highly respected wine writers. As the resident wine expert on CBC-Radio, with monthly appearances on Ontario Today, Konrad invites listeners to phone in with any question on wine or about the wine industry. Here's your chance to participate in a live, "off-air" version of his radio show. Ask a question or get advice on anything wine--be it proper service and storage, investing in futures, ideas for a special event, or favourite wine/food pairing. Do you have a bottle or antique wine gadget you'd like appraised? Come and meet Konrad Ejbich “Unplugged” and “Uncorked”.

4:15 - Shari Darling – “The Sophisticated Wino” is another well known and respected Ontario Wine Writer and also a Radio Personality at 92.7 CFFF FM Trent Radio. Today, Shari will provide highlights from her new book Orgasmic Appetizers and Matching Wines. Copies of Shari's book will be available for purchase at the end of her seminar. She will show you how to take your entertaining to the next level, to give it the MOAN Factor.

5:45 - Chef Don Vassiliadis – Owner of The Shish-Kabob Hut, a 33 year Peterborough instituition. Watch Saganaki (flaming cheese) and Baklava be prepared by the award winning Chef Don, then get your taste buds ready for a treat when you sample them. Not only will you receive recipes at this session, you will also be given lessons in Greek words and pronunciation. You can “WOW” guests at your next dinner party with Greek Food AND the language. OPA! isn’t just for the restaurant any more!

If you have a bottle of wine you'd like Konrad to look at, you must bring the bottle to the East Entrance of the building, where they will be kept safely (you will receive a "coat ticket" and a receipt for your bottle) Prior to Konrad's seminar, you may retrieve your bottle of wine by handing in your coat ticket and receipt. The bottle must not leave the west side of the building where the seminars take place. At the conclusion of the seminar, you may return your bottle to the "coat check" and again receive a receipt, or take your bottle back to your car. AT NO TIME MAY YOUR OWN BOTTLES OF WINE BE CARRIED INTO THE PARK OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE MAIN BUILDING.
